Welcome to Anchors Away Boat Tours With Captain Fred.

    I invite your family and friends to join us for a day of relaxing boating. With a limit of six guests per trip I offer a truly unique personal boating experience.

     Bring the kids to perhaps their first boat ride and a day of swimming and shelling at any of our local barrier islands and sand bars, or bring a group from your church, club, or neighborhood. Even if you have a small group visiting from out of town, you can book an impromptu trip on the water providing added adventure and memories to your visit.

    I am available most days and you can book your day of boating on our website or by phone.(303-641-0875). Our rates are reasonable and can include two to four or four to six hour excursions. You can book one or two or up to six persons for a relaxing day on the water. We also have several different payment options.

    A very popular and convenient place for guests to park and be welcomed aboard would be the beautiful “Sims Park” in New Port Richey. Plenty of Public parking and restrooms near the ampitheater lends to a short walk to the Public boat docks where I will board you and your party.

     A slow, gentle ride down the Cotee River lends an opportunity to get great views of the surrounding community. There is always the likely surprise of a Manatee or Dolphin sighting as we make our way towards the Gulf.

    You call the shots as I can bring you on a simple float to one of the many eateries along the river, or I can adventure to one of our local islands and sandbars for some snorkeling, shelling, or just plain relaxing. Popular stops include Durney Key, the North Anclote Sandbar/Shoal, and Anclote Island Key State Park. I will be delighted to anchor and beach the boat for you to disembark and enjoy the beaches. You will experience a vast array of seagulls, pelicans, cormorants, and herons, egrets and cranes along the way. It has been common to see the graceful sea turtles, dolphins and manatees as well.

    Please feel free to provide your own food and beverages of your choice as I have plenty of deck and seating space on our Bennington tri- toon Pontoon Boat, which also provides for a smoother ride for both our novice younger mariners as well as our more seasoned ones.
